The Inner Game

a.k.a. our Inner Operating System
The inner game encompasses the core motivations that shape our identity and direct our behavior; the systems we use to interpret our experiences; our methods of analysis and decision-making; and our degree of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

The Outer Game

a.k.a. Leadership Practices
The outer game comprises our domain knowledge, experience, managerial capabilities, leadership competencies, and behavior.
Although the outer game is where most people spend their time (and it is important), the inner game runs the outer game.
Most approaches to leader development and change management focus on the outer game, and the results tend to be short-lived.
 
Our coaching starts with strengthening the inner game FIRST.

⭐ Coaching Starts with a Lighthouse Session ⭐

The Lighthouse Session is the foundation of every coaching engagement; a 90-minute experience designed to ground you in clarity and direction. After a debrief of your WHY.os Discovery, you’ll define your core values and the behaviors that signal alignment, creating a personal “lighthouse” to guide your leadership. You’ll leave with a custom Leader DNA guide and a practical process to consistently apply these insights throughout your coaching journey.

Next, we’ll walk you through three foundational sessions that build self-awareness and set the stage for upgrading your inner operating system using proven tools and exercises. Insights from these sessions and assessments (see list below) guide you through the Immunity to Change™ (ITC) coaching process while leveraging additional frameworks, such as Dare to Lead™, to strengthen your leadership and set you up for success.

Coaching sessions are one hour via Zoom, typically held every other week, with time between sessions to apply what you’ve learned. Our primary coaching packages are highlighted below.
