Enhance Team Effectiveness
When people feel safe asking for help, sharing suggestions or challenging the status quo without fear of negative consequences, organizations are more likely to innovate quickly and better adapt to change.
Culture is experienced at the team level and can be improved and nurtured by helping teams become more cohesive and operate in a way that leverages everyone’s talents and gifts.
We use a variety of proven assessments and developmental programs to help enhance the effectiveness of teams.
Dare to Leadâ„¢
This program is based on the research by Dr. Brené Brown. For intact work teams, it includes pre-assessments on the team’s current state of trust and daring leadership to guide the work, and then guides teams through building four skills of courage. Teams report feeling greater trust, connection, and communication after completing this program together.
*Dare to Lead can also be offered for mixed groups.
Developing a Leadership Mindset (DALM)
A thriving workplace is possible when everyone has the tools and resources to show up as a leader—regardless of their role.Â
Our Developing a Leadership Mindset (DALM) program, designed for intact work groups, will help transform your workplace culture one team at a time. Participant outcomes include:
- Improved self-awareness
- Increased psychological safety
- Improved team communication and conflict resolution
- Greater alignment with your organization’s purpose and vision
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team
Like it or not, all teams are potentially dysfunctional. The good news is that the causes of team dysfunction are both identifiable and curable, with courage and discipline. The Five Dysfunctions of a Team online team assessment is the definitive tool for leaders looking to make their teams more cohesive and effective. It measures how your team is doing with Trust, Conflict, Committment, Accountability, and Results. The assessment can be repeated to measure progress along the way.
Psychological Safety Scan
The key to developing a successful team is Psychological Safety, or the belief that one will not be punished or humiliated for speaking up with ideas, questions, concerns or mistakes. The Psychological Safety Scan (PSI) is a validated instrument, developed in collaboration with Amy Edmondson of Harvard Business School, that leverages her more than 20 years of research to measure where teams are in terms of 4 domains of psychological safety.
- Inclusion & Diversity
- Willingness to Help
- Attitude to Risk & Failure
- Open Conversation
The Six Types of Working Genius
Pat Lencioni and the Table Group developed this assessment to help individuals and teams understand which aspects of work energize them and which drains them. In addition to individual results, we run a team report and map and facilitate discussions to help teams see the pitfalls when any of the geniuses are missing and the risks of over-using or misusing our geniuses. We then help each team create a playbook to support team working norms that will help them function more effectively and minimize frustration.
Team WHY.os Workshop
Your team does its best work when people understand not only what they do, but why they do it. Salveo’s Team WHY.os workshop helps teams uncover the unique drivers, strengths, and contributions of each person so they can communicate more clearly, collaborate more effectively, and move forward with greater alignment.
Through guided facilitation and meaningful dialogue, your team will gain shared language for what motivates them, how they naturally show up, and how to better leverage one another’s strengths. The result is greater self-awareness, deeper trust, and a stronger foundation for high-performing, people-centered teamwork.
